The only correct answer is GA Southern and their 6 National Championships! The most 1-AA titles in the nation!
One of the reasons I believe Ga. Tech can be REALLY good if that offense is clicking on all cylinders. Man, those teams with Adrian Peterson were fun to watch.

there is. SLU is saying they will go all in to host as many as they can. But no idea what that means past hosting the first game
How many students are at SLU now? They didn't even have a football team when I was there. lol. Great to see them doing so well so fast.

Think 1997 Florida Marlins.

It seems like every year a SLC team, even the champion, has to go to Montana or EWU. Why is that? I hear that there is kinda like a "bidding" process for home games. Does anybody know?
The SLC is not one of the "power" conferences in FCS, so they usually are seeded lower. Two years ago though, Sam Houston St had home field all the way thru the playoffs which included a game against Montana St. Last year, SHSU went to Montana and E. Washington in back to back weeks and won both games in freezing temps to get to the Nat'l Championship game.

Considering SLU will return QB, all RBs, most WRs, and TE along with this seasons leading tackler and last seasons leading tackler. Tackle for loss leader will also be back. All of those guys being linebackers with the smallest one being 6'1 235 and can run. Add to that almost the entire secondary including the teams leader in ints. I'd say we'll beat McNeese's arse for the 3rd straight year.

Slu will be better next year. Not even a question.

You're looking at the wrong Dakota State. SLU will get past a semifinal matchup with NDSU, but if they meet South Dakota State in the final, they're done.

SLU wins the ship a semester before I graduate

Actually it is North Dakota St that is the power school recently. SLU played South Dakota St in week 3 and lost 34-26 at their place. SLU was up by ten at halftime, but they had 6 turnovers and still had chances to win. You stop their QB by the name of Zenner who is like a clone to Bennett for SLU than you stop SDSU!

They'll learn quick, Prom.

McNeese fans living vicariously through SLU opponents

That's what's funny about it all.
They talk SO MUCH, yet have no clue about any other teams outside the conference or who they've played.

We're just trying to keep you grounded in reality here.
It is VERY VERY difficult to go up north and visit some of these schools and win. We know it's possible, we've done it. But we're also very familiar with the fact you can take a great team up there, and have your arse handed to you.
Most of you didn't even realize FCS football existed until last year.
McNeese has traveled the country and played some of these teams. We have a home and home with Montana. We have a home and home with App St. We're traveling to play Nebraska next year.
Sure, you can beat us three years and row, but your program isn't on the level that McNeese is.

You guys are on a whole different level of obsessed. Let us enjoy some success for once, maybe something speical happens, maybe we get our shite kicked in.
But hell let us enjoy it without yall two shitting in every slu thread.

How many teams get in the playoffs in FCS?

I would. I really would, but yall acted like such asses about your win over us, and are now declaring yourself the team to beat in the playoffs. You've brought this on yourself. The arrogance after a few wins and a good season is mind numbing.

I go to selu but I always pull for the Louisiana teams that makes the playoffs. I am sure they will do the same. I have friends at both schools.
