Simmons?

16-17pts
8-9 rebs
5-6 ast

If he gets that many points I don't see him having a high efficiency.

Will the sixers let him handle the ball often? That also might make a big difference.

I honestly think Reddick might be one of their top 2 scorers.

Define high efficiency?

Dude shot 56% in college

He's gonna get 10pts a game alone on breaks &

After preseason ball, Zach Lowe has already crowned him as an elite NBA passer, basically said you pick the number as low as you want, he's the (insert number) best passer in the league.

He won't be very efficient. I think he scores closer to 13-14 points per game.

Often? He'll be their main ball handler. He'll turn it over a ton but I also think he can average 7+ assists per game.

If so, that means Simmons is probably doing something well and "assisting" Redick with that.

I think the plan all along is to have Simmons handle the ball and start the offense so he will spend a lot of time away from the basket. Consequently he wont have as many easy buckets as he did at LSU.

I can see Simmons as a 6'10 Jason Kidd for the Sixers.

so I think he averages about 12-13ppg and about 5-6apg as a rookie. If simmons becomes a 35-37% 3pt shooter in his career he will easily average 16-18ppg.

He won't finish higher than 3rd. He is on a vet team and will be, what, the 3rd scoring option? He isn't a playmaker like Lonzo and Simmons, and those guys will have higher usage on their teams.

I love Smith's upside but don't think he wins rookie of the year. Simmons has been the most impressive in the preseason and is the better talent of the 3.

Everything I’m hearing here in Dallas through the media is that they expect him to essentially play the Westbrook role and have everything go through him.

His only competition scoring is an ancient Dirk, who will be limited on minutes nightly, and Harrison Barnes (who quietly was very good last year, especially in the 2nd half).

Do I really think he’ll win it? Probably not, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he did. Dude is a beast.

As compared to what? Last season when they didn’t make the playoffs?

I mean yeah, I pray to God we are so we can get another somewhat high pick.

I would be absolutely shocked if Carlisle hands over the reigns to a rookie PG who is known to have an attitude

Simmons is so fricking good, I cannot fathom the hate he gets. I've never been more sure of a prospect

The only question with Simmons to me is if he develops into a superstar number one guy or is more of a complimentary star on a contender type. His jumper will probably be the difference. But he is going to be really damn good regardless and it would be pretty surprising if he isn't ROY

His jumper will improve like Greek freak, dwade, Lebron, Derozan etc and other guys that are good scorers without much shooting range
