No * required.
Of course not, there was no strike, no lockout, no shortened season or anything else to deserve an asterisk. The Rockets beat everyone in front of them twice.

I say yes.
He could also be considered for the "taking a punch like a fricking boss" hall of fame.
The man claimed he tasted spinal fluid when he got punched in that game.

Rudy is one of those rare guys who belongs as a player, and as a coach.
Sadly, he also belongs as a historical monument of the changing of the NBA. The Punch remains sobering reading, and tells the story of the traumatic event prompting the first of the two steps of reforming the NBA of the 70s, to make the modern game.

Just his broken face via Kermit Washington, the rest of his body not so much,

That '95 playoff run was incredible. The Rockets beat the #1, #2, & #3 seeds while only winning a combined 3 games at home.
Houston was a 6 or 7 seed and were down 2 games to 1 (5 game series) to Stockton & Malone.
Rockets then go down 3 games to 1, to Barkley's Suns.
Top cap it off they win 4 on the road against the #1 Spurs.

The two championships obviously have an *, but the Rockets still have the trophies. Rudy T should def be in the HOF.

He should be in for sure IMO. Also...

The Rockets were one of the teams the Bulls really struggled with for some reason.
The guy's name is Hakeem Olajuwon.

no, they don't have an * by their titles ... they beat the teams in front of them ... if we're handing out asterisks for jordan's absence, we can hand them out for an absent qb, coach, pitcher, or any external factor that was beyond the control of the team/player on the stage ... the ball was tossed, and they won the games ...

How did it take so long for this to be posted?

No claim, that was confirmed.
