Should Pops sit TP on Thursday?

If he really hurt his hamstring last night, but still could play if needed, should Pops just sit him ?

Game 5 isn't till Sunday. And the Spurs have the 2-1 lead.

Frankly, the way Miami is playing right now, I think the Spurs would have a good shot to win Thursday even without Parker (he only scored 6 last night and they still blew them out).

You're kidding, right?

Sit your best player in Game 4 of the NBA finals?

I'm saying this on the condition if TP significantly hurt his hamstring and would be slowed down if he played Thursday.

Hypo depends on a lot of unknowns.

How serious is the injury? How much worse could he make it by playing on it Thursday, how much better could it get with the extra rest?

Slow down, the Heat just blew the Spurs out a few days ago

TP is creating the madness right now. They are double teaming him and he is shredding the double team up and dishing the rock to the next open player. The key to this is that the open player is hitting his shot 9 times out of 10. The Heat had a plan and the Spurs countered it with perfection.

Game 4 will be different, but I'm starting TP and looking for the 3-1 lead.

Miami has looked like themselves for 5 minutes in this series.

Thats what I'm basing that statement on.

It's still an incredibly stupid statement.

No, this isn't the regular season, so unless Parker can't walk he needs to at least attempt to play on it. Besides I'm sure they'll be shooting him up with something to where he can't even feel his hamstring.

if its a serious HS injury 2 days isn't going to really make a huge difference.

Close loss
Blow out win
Blow out loss

Why does our sports society blow things out of proportion and react to the latest so much?

if he is seriously hurt and the training staff believes that game off will help his hamstring significantly, then I think you dont start him and maybe only play him as needed or maybe even not at all. Again, that's just if the injury is limiting him enough and the trainers believe he'd be close to 100% for game 5.

No joke. Everyone's memory is so short it is like anything that happened more than three days ago never happened at all.

Even though two of the games have been blowouts this series is really tight. The two blowouts cancel each other out and the Spurs won a really tight contest in the first game.
