Should Kevin Love go back to Minnesota?

He said he left because they didn't get players for him but now they will have added the last 3 years first overall picks in only 12 months. Those guys are cheap so they will have plenty of cap space and talent. I think it would be awesome if he did and he would be a hero!

Only if they have Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love for him to play with.

Only 2 are relevant.

Rubio/wiggins/Kmart/love/Towns
That's a solid lineup
That's a solid lineup

Well, if he left Minnesota for talent reasons, it makes zero sense to leave the best player in the world and a top 10-15 player to go back to Minnesota and play with one of the worst #1 picks ever (Bennett), a promising rookie with a high ceiling but still unknown how great he'll be, and a complete unknown.

Sure but he isn't needed in Cleveland and he could be the #1 guy again in Minnesota.

that would be foolish with Wiggins

Sure, if he never wants to be on a championship team anymore.

Kevin Love publicly stated his disapproval of the team and owner. I think that bridge is burned baw.

If I'm K. Love I think my top 3 teams are..
1. Lakers- One last run with Kobe. Play with Okafor or Towns moving forward. Huge market, will make a ton off the court and get to live/play in LA. They can put together a decent team and the team will always be popular. Plus he has a nice history going to school there. I almost think this is a lock..
2. Portland- Return home. Get to play with Lillard. Super rich owner and great fans. This is only if Aldridge leaves..
3. Boston- Big market. Great history. Stacked, young roster. Tons of weapons to build a big competitor. Great young coach, with a great system. Fans would adore him..
I wouldn't play in Cleveland and play 3rd fiddle. Lebron makes bad teammates good, but he pulls great teammates down. The list is too long to revisit, but I'd get out now. Go find a team and build my own legacy and not try to be part of his..

He's played with 2 great players in Miami , and their the numbers went down because they had to, there's only one basketball to go around, but both players had their best ever efficiency numbers while playing with him.
2 more in Cleveland, so actually Love is really the only one of the 4 who played worse.

I thought part of the reason he wanted out was because they didn't max him out after his rookie deal?
I might be wrong but thought there was a little tension about that.

Larry Hughes, Eric Snow, Ben Wallace, Wally World, Shaq, Mo Williams, Antwan Jamison, the guys in Miami, K. Love.. all highly productive players whose numbers tumbled while playing with Lebron..
To be fair, he elevates much lesser players. But better players suffer playing next to him, numbers wise that is..

Really?
Shaq and Jamison were old as hell when they were playing with LBJ, the rest are journeyman players.
quote:
the guys in Miami
Were great players and won more with LBJ than they did before, as did LeBron. It was beneficial for all.
quote:
K. Love
Has won more this year with LeBron than he ever has in his career.
Their stats might decline some, but the wins increase.

Outside of Shaq, who was no longer a great player at the time, only maybe Jamison of the bolded players was once "great", and he was past his prime. Are you really this dense when talking about LeBron?
LeBron made Mo Williams. The dude was nothing without him.

Also, I see Mo Williams on that list, pretty sure his 2 best seasons ever came the 2 seasons he played with Lebron.

No doubt. It's all a personal choice. Be a sidekick or be a star. Some guys relish the spotlight and the pressure, others shrink in it. Its like comparing Dirk to Bosh. Bosh might have more rings. But Dirk will always more credit for the one he did get. K. Love (like Bosh) is too good to be in that role. I think it's a shame when players play lesser than they can, just to stack the deck to get rings..

Jamison was averaging 21/9 for WAS before he got traded to CLE. That's really good.
