Add about 60 pounds and a codeine habit and you've got JaMarcus Russell.

If he goes like 30-33 for 400+ yds and 100+ yds rushing, yes. Otherwise, no.

Should transfer just like Braxton and get another year IMO

Edit: that is, if he can... not sure if he's eligible

He's 250 at least.

He needs to work on his pocket prescence, he can't truck people in the NFL like he does. He needs to be Ben Roethelisburger.

Not as much of a project as you'd think, he's gotten a bunch of first team snaps the past year. That's why he's in the position he's in. But if I were he, I'd think about going pro for sure. He would just really need to be in a great situation. If he got stuck with the Raiders, he'd be done.

He's a redshirt sophomore. He has two years of eligibility left. The issue being that he would have to go play school for an extra year and sit out if he transferred. I don't see that as an option.

I see him staying one more year, figure out his draft stock, then perhaps transfer for his last year after he graduates (if he's on time).

Where else is he going to get better coaching to be an NFL QB than the NFL?

I think he should go regardless what happens on Monday

And be a 25yr old rookie? No way.

He would be almost 30 before he gets his first big contract.

This is a terrible QB draft, go get on a roster and work full time on your craft and start your contract clock

Well, unless he's playing against Landon Collins

Cardale Jones:"I will definitely be back" next year at OSU.

He absolutely should go pro.

The deep ball throws against Alabama were great. From the left hash to the front pylon 50 yards down the field and over two defenders on one.

Size, arm and mobility.

Offensive coordinators would love to mold this guy.

He is a lot closer to 265 than 225.

I really do not think he is pro ready at all.

He should consider transferring. Neither He nor Braxton will start over Barrett next year

First off he is 6'5" 250 lbs. Second...YES! If Cardale Jones beats Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon in his first three starts, then he should absolutely go pro. This kid has a ton of potential. Great size and athleticism with a monster arm. He has all the tools one could ask for. If he wins, he will almost certainly be invited to the combine....right? If I were the owner of lets say.....the Cleveland Browns, would you take him in the 4-5th round? As a Browns fan, i would have no problem with that. So yes, if he wins, he should go pro IMO.

Serioulsy, why should he transfer? He would have to sit out another year. Strike while the iron is hot. His stock couldnt be higher. If Ohio St wins, i think he in fact will go pro. If i were Urban Meyer, thats what i would advise him to do.
