A spinoff of the other thread.

My vote is the LA Memorial Coliseum. They removed the track but didn't lower the field. Instead the shoved it all the way into the horse shoe and installed a flat "sun deck" on the other side. The existing seats on the open end of the stadium are literally 40 yards behind the endzone.

They have a chainlink fence around the stadium and you have to go through a metal detector to get in. "Tailgating" sucks. You carry your shite to the middle of campus and pitch a tent OWS style.

Campus is in the ghetto. Before, during and after the game Mexican families are going through the trash for aluminum cans.

Georgia Tech. You would think an engineering school would have produced an architect or someone that can design concourses more than 3 feet wide. Don't even get me started on the location.

UAB @ Legion Field is a pretty pathetic combination. That stadium was the tits forty years ago but it has fallen into disrepair. One of the upper decks is closed off due to failing trusses.

Why won't UAB build their own facility? Is it money, or what?

FIFY. I actually had to go to that awful old wreck of a stadium a couple of years ago.

As far as D1A stadiums though, the one FAU was playing in until their on campus stadium was constructed was pretty awful. It looked like a Jr High football field. Not even high school level.

This is the press box. Yes, that is a mobile home on stilts.

There is only once correct answer, and it's Idaho. It seats 16,000 (smallest in 1A) and looks like shite.

That's because all the money went to rescuing Winter.

Seriously given how quickly storms pop up in South Florida it's amazing the thing didn't tip over.

Even more so than Boise State's eye-straining blue carpet?

Seriously Kyle Field should be mentioned. I don't get the north end zone seating--it looks like it's longer than the east and west sides. Unless the long-term plan is to rotate the field 90 degrees.

Its the worst college stadium I've ever been in. Me being a Michigan fan doesn't change that.
