snubbed? they both suck

Seattle is 4th in the NFL according to Football Outsiders when you adjust for SOS. They are still a very dangerous team

Yup. Pretty sure no one wants to get matched up against Seattle, except crazy Saints homers.

Seattle is interesting. They are great at limiting yards on defense, but they suck at forcing interceptions and getting to the quarterback.

SF meanwhile has a relatively easier slate. I think they split Seattle and go into Week 17 at home against the Cards with a berth on the line.

Good chance neither makes it because of the good records of the top two in the North and East

@NYG (3-6)
WASH (3-6)
SEA (6-3)
@OAK (0-9)
@SEA (6-3)
SD (5-4)
AZ (8-1)

The 49ers have beaten both the Cowboys and Eagles so maybe that helps in some way for a wildcard tiebreaker down the line.

The picture is not clear in the NFC right now since Seattle Vs SF and Dallas vs Philly both have to be played twice.

Nobody got screwed by the NFL's playoff system more than Jim Mora's Saints teams in the early 1990's. On a couple of occasions they had the second best record in the NFL but because they were in the old NFC West with Montana and Rice's 49'er teams they still had to play in a wildcard game. Saints will get the benefit of this system this year but there will be more whining about it this year than any other.
