I think they offer some unique sightlines, and make great use of their school colors to make the graphics pop.
The old ones are just so bland by comparison. Not imaginative at all.

I wished CU would make this their annual Homecoming look.
I love their look after this also. The Big 8 thing on the shoulder was sharp.
They just need to stay simple though with Metallic hat solid Gold or black pant opposite of jersey.

Exactly. I don't see why some people have such a hard on for the old junk that looked so plain and stale. I can't think of something less imaginative than a boring 'M' on the side of a helmet. The school nickname is Tigers, so an awesome looking tiger head should be on the helmet.
Damn, some people are stuck in the past and so afraid of change. I love Texas A&M's new uniforms as well except for the alternates.

Not at all. It is a fresh update that was much needed. And the players love them. I do like the old "paw print" logo that used to be on the uniforms, though I'm sure someone would complain it looks too much like Clemson.

I think it's just that it's en vogue for fans to prefer "vintage" automatically, and knee jerk bash anything new simply because....it's new.

There was a thread on here a few months back that said the Sacramento Kings were getting a new logo, and IMMEDIATELY everyone started shitting on it. After a page, it came to light that the "new" logo, is actually a re-adoption of their old logo, and instantly the tenor of the responses changed

For me, I'd always think of Michigan first when I glimpsed y'all's old helmets (of course, I'm also biased in that I grew up a Michigan fan).

Yep, that's the one. The rest of the uniform is fine, but that helmet does nothing for me.

That one looks good too. Yeah, the tiger head could be smaller. But both are a big upgrade from the lame 'M' helmets.
Heh, I will admit the jumbo tiger head looks like a pain for the equipment manager to stick on all those helmets. I don't know if that decal is one part or two. The smaller logo would be much easier to stick on the helmets. Are those decals easily removable after the game?

Indeed. If something can be improved, then change it. The former artist in me puts a lot of emphasis on creativity. Some lame letter on a helmet suggests zero creativity. In my opinion, I just prefer helmets that reflect whatever the school nickname is. I do think that Nike and Adidas have gone overboard with some of it though like Oregon, Louisville, Arizona St.
