Sex addiction is a disability. My boss can't say shite when I whip out my piece and mushroom stamp the new receptionist.
Hell, if he wins this case, I'm going to get drunk as frick and drive down the LA freeway. Let some a-hole Ponch motherfricker give me a dui. I'm gonna be rich!

USC's response
Statement from Carol Mauch Amir, USC General Counsel:
"Much of what is stated in the lawsuit filed today by Steve Sarkisian is patently untrue. While the university does not as a matter of practice comment on personnel matters or litigation, the record will show that Mr. Sarkisian repeatedly denied to university officials that he had a problem with alcohol, never asked for time off to get help, and resisted university efforts to provide him with help. The university made clear in writing that further incidents would result in termination, as it did. We are profoundly disappointed in how Mr. Sarkisian has mischaracterized the facts and we intend to defend these claims vigorously."

quote:If he was in recovery he would not be suing. He clearly isnt taking responsibility for his actions. In fact, it seems just the opposite as Resentment is the number one killer of alcoholics and he is well on his way to a tragic date with the Four Horesman of alcoholism.....
it seem as if he's unrepentant about his actions

Good. I hope y'all squash him in court.
It should be a slam dunk case since he publicly and privately denied that he had a drinking problem, agreed in writing to avoid any further public incidents, and lost his protection (at least under federal standards) by being under the influence at work.
But you never know with lottery lawsuits.

well, did he fill out paperwork claiming that disability prior to or during employment? Nope.
I realize anyone can sue for anything, but this sets a terrible precedent. Get drunk or drugged on jogb. Get fired. Sue.

I was pulling for Steve after he got fired, hoping he would get his shite together, but frick that.
He is getting terrible legal advice. He won't get shite out of this lawsuit, and now he's committing complete career suicide if he hadn't already.
