They aerifyied their greens and didn't top dress with sand. Just holes everywhere. Santa is the flagship for BREC courses. Why not take your time and do it right?? Am I wrong here?

Just drive the extra hour to La Tour. It's the area's premier golf destination.

Santa Domingo sucks anyway.

I've never played it when it was worth playing anyways.

You must get a kick back for every cart fee they sell. #PushySalesman

I could drive 35 mins to Carter Plantation anyway.

Carter Plantation

What is all the hype on this place? Besides being able to drive your cart through the center of the pro shop and restaurant. I've played it a few times and was never overly impressed like I am with the likes of other courses in South La.

What is it that you don't like exactly? I think it's always in great shape and fun to play.

1 is a retarded hole, 18 is the worst finishing hole in the state, and always in great shape? I'd go with good shape when compared to the public options around I guess. I am just condition spoiled, I don't call anything great that has greens less than 10 on the stimp and when someone says they are fast it's bc they don't have any grass on the greens.

I went play golf at the Course in Patterson the other day. Greens were shite, and the course had weeds all over and looked like dog shite. So your course is not alone.

Atchafalaya is broke and shitty, I'd recommend Dumas or Howell Park over Atchafalaya.

Bandit needs three things in life, and I agree on all of them:

La Tour
Cigs
Greens that roll pure, and 12
White cans
Larry

Please.

Where do you usually play if you don't mind me asking? I've never had an issue with Carter's conditions, especially the greens. I'll agree with you about 18, but nothing wrong with 1, just a very easy hole.

Atchafalaya used to be one of my favorite courses. I would gladly drive the 1.5 hours from New Orleans to play it. Now it's gone to complete shite

I usually play LaTour, I do venture out to ET, TPC, or Money Hill on occasion.

I haven't played Carter since they had all of the crazy drainage issues going on that I am told they have now fixed. I had a friend play there recently and said the greens was slow and fuzzy, but everyone is letting them grow in right now I understand that, I will make a point to get up there and play again soon.

This but from Lafayette. Only reason I went was because I paid for a 4 course gift card and my bud who bought one as well wanted to try it out.

Last time I played Atchafalaya was with Janky.

He got the business on #10 when I bombed one 380 yards down the barrel on a flight that never got above the trees.

But Atchafalaya is a huge dump. It attracts a ton of rodents that walk right up to your cart and steal shite.

Atchafalaya used to be immaculate but the state and parish are out of funding for it, it's really sad to see as the layout is awesome. They used to have full GPS carts, the best greens in the south, but now it's all shitty, the greens have a disease that I don't know if anyone can fix without a rebuild. The restaurant kicks arse but they can't even keep carts charged for 18 holes, it sucks.

They just bought a whole new fleet of carts with New GPS on it. Yet the course looks like a goat ranch

Shows you how long it's been since I've been out there besides to eat in the restaurant, the greens are so bad Art Vandelay just got back into form on the greens from a rehab facility they sent him to, Thibby loves it out there, it's brings everyone on the same level as him when 3 putting is an achievement.

I doubt they bought them, I'm sure it was just time for a new lease/exchange plan they have in place with their cart vendor.
