Played The Island today for the first time and really enjoyed it. Wasn't the nicest course Ive played at but it is fun. Will definitely return.

Was out at Santa Maria this week. The old fart you are referring to is quiting this week so things may get better in the pro shop. For me the best day to play is Monday. The Marshall that day is really nice and seems to make everyone think he appreciates you playing there. They should put him in the pro shop.

Playing Wetlands in Laffayette Sunday. $62, but it is a pretty nice course and we are playing early in the morning. Wetlands and The Farm are the two nicest courses around here available to the public IMO

Never played it, need to, the Farm has new greens as well I think.
