I am a fan of conferences like the MVC getting multiple teams to the tourney, but it hasn't happened much lately because the team who wins Arch Madness was already an at-large team
In 2007 Southern Illinois and Creighton were the at-large worthy teams, Creighton won it
In 2008 Drake was the only at-large worthy team and they won it
In 2009 there were no at-large worthy teams
In 2010 Northern Iowa was the only at-large worthy team and they won it
In 2011 there were no at-large worthy teams
In 2012 Creighton and Wichita State were the two at-large worthy teams, Creighton won it
In 2013 Wichita State and Creighton were the at-large worthy teams and Creighton won it
In 2014 Wichita State was the only at-large worthy team and they won it
In 2015 Northern Iowa and Wichita State were the only at-large worthy teams and UNI won it
In 2016 Wichita State and Northern Iowa were the only at-large worthy teams and Northern Iowa won it

I remember that shot. I was for Evansville too. Hopefully Illinois State or someone else can knock off Wichita this year.

Depends. I'd rather Illinois State win it and send Wichita to the NIT, but my dream scenario is Illinois State losing in the MVC final to a team not named Wichita State, and Illinois State getting an at-large and Wichita going to the NIT

I think Wichita gets in either way.
Their offensive and defensive efficiency metrics are so good. Although their RPI wins aren't impressive. Pretty much the exact same résumé as last year.
I wouldn't be shocked if they get sent to Dayton again if they lose in the MVC title game.

Wichita is in. They did what was needed they scheduled up and teams will play them. It is not their fault some teams tanked.
The biggest issue we ever had was scheduling everyone thought we should just go to their place for a 1 and done, which is so bullshite. The Mid Majors get screwed in this deal as much as the G5 teams do in CFB.

I would love to go see a game at the Palestra. That is on my bucket list. One of the most fabled arenas in America.
I like how the East Regional this year is at MSG, IMO they need to keep the FF and Regionals in places like this. The history of these places is just amazing.
On the 100th 2038) year anniversary
Have the Finals in KC, as it was original home.
But then have the Regionals at places like MSG, Pauley, Hinkle, Memorial or Rupp. Have the sub regionals at Palestra, Carrier Dome, Dean Dome, Allen, Allstate, the Pit, Marriott, and Gallagher-Iba.

The regional finals were at MSG aim 2014, I believe. UConn beat Michigan State in the Elite Eight.

They were, but I like that they are continuing this. Id rather it be at MSG than Medowlands, Brooklyn, or whatever.

The Palestra is small. 8.700 and change.

I'm giving up fast food for lent, so I went and got a $5 cravings box from Taco Bell, and an asiago ranch chicken sandwich from Wendy's.
Gave away my hard shell taco in the box to my roommate, so it was the perfect amount of food.
The asiago ranch chicken sandwich (spicy, duh) is literally the best item in fast food. Pairing it with a cheesy gordita crunch was possibly the peak moment of my life.
