??? His offense and his team's inability to finish games is turning his seat into a throne made of fire. His former apprentice at Cal is at least making slight improvements.

No way in hell he's fired.

Probably not.
But the way I look at it, if you don't get immediate returns from a guy like that, get rid of him.

I strongly disagree with Charlie and Al.

Charlie Strong already has Texas improving. Strong is going to surprise some folks next season.

Why did it take so long for Tim Beckman's name to pop up? Can't coach or recruit. Been downhill since Tobacco-Gate his first year.

c'mon the guy is a genius. he writes books and shite; nickname of the pirate. all of the 18 yr olds worship him.

his offense knows how to chew up the yardage; the new benchmark on how good of a coach you are.

Can't see it. Tulane might have looked bad against P5 teams, but we're competitive against AAC competition so far. Plus we expected to take a step back with the move to a better conference.

Barring a full-scale implosion the rest of the year, CJ will be back in 2015.

That is true - clock management, the playcalling.
Coaching cost us today.
But he also also significantly improved the talent - and mostly with very well evaluated 2 and 3 star player.
What he needs is an OC who can run things for him.
Who that is, I don't know. Someone like Applewhite maybe?
Who it isn't is the Price bros.
