I have ESPN on in the background as I work and First Take discussed this with Stephen A. Smith speaking highly about Richard Sherman and what he said, and also had a lot of great things to say to add to Sherman's comments.

And then His & Hers came on with Jemele Hill and Michael Smith. I just had it on as background noise and then the Richard Sherman came on.

And they both blasted him for speaking on "topics he knows little about." They were both disappointed in him for what he said and that he shouldn't have said anything.

This show is pure trash and how it is on ESPN is beyond me.

edit: and they finished by saying his comments were counterproductive and will lead to more racism

Well... yeah, if someone gets murdered there's usually a victim and not necessarily just the person murdered. Are you suggesting that no one should care about someone being murdered?

I'm talking about blacks as a whole playing the victim.

I was clear that in a murder there is a "victim", but thought the context I gave explained how I meant it.

Uh no. Most criminals who commit a crime go to jail. Most cops get paid vacation and almost no jail time if they commit a crime. In fact a lot are covered up.

A lot are covered up? Listen, I am not of the opinion that cops shouldn't be held to a higher standard, and cops that murder people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But is the dead person any more dead when those instances occur vs. the hood killings? What is the percentage of cop murders vs the total murder rate? It's a fraction of a fraction. Yet, when those happen, then the outrage happens. My point is simply, it's screaming at a match while a forest fire is raging around them.

So again, if black lives do matter so much, why are they killing each other with such regularity?

As much as I think Stephen A Smith can be a nonsensical rambling moron at times, I love how he calls on black people to take accountability for their problems and doesn't bash those who stray from the group think mentality

now this board is going to love this loud mouth trash talking black man.

Kind of like the Jason Whitlock love fest when he criticizes black people but much hate when he expresses a view of injustice done to blacks.
