Everyone forever has known he's a degenerate gambler.

ETA:

Not sure why he didn't just use/pay a proxy to bet for him in Vegas and pay taxes on the winnings.

lol someone works at KPMG...I didn't make the statement but I have to agree. So just by perception.

I haven't met one person who has worked at KPMG and has anything good to say about it.

What's up with all the fukkery from golfers in the last few years? Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson the cokehead sleeping with other players wives, the golfer who pretended to be kidnapped, and now this. It seems like golfers are mixed up in all kinds of seedy shite that goes under the radar.

Rich white males like coke, gambling, and hookers.

It only helps that the pga is private about everything and protects the players from media backlash.

ETA:

Dustin J failed 3 separate times for cocaine, which leaves your system in 48 hours, and they still say "he took a leave" from golf. It's clear he had a bad coke problem and the PGA hides it from the public.

Phil seems like the kind of guy who will spend millions on things he wants but fricking hates and resents paying taxes.

I would too given the percentage of taxes the Feds and CA take from him.

He already got into a bit of hot water a few years back talking about the tax rates.

I'd rather he gamble it all away and spend it on hookers and coke. He can waste the rest.
Anybody who hides money from this POS government is good with me.

I did...I'm a little uncertain on if Mickelson had some intent or wrong doing in this. I can't tell if he gave the money and then it was laundered without him knowing or if he knew what was up.

I got out of it that Mickelson was likely sending money to illegal gambling operations. I guess the dude who plead out keeps a degree of separation from money laundering.

This seems to be the general atmosphere in big public accounting right now.
