Like I've said...he's not playing again.
Bone spurs coming due to instability...well when you fuse other levels...you have to get your movement in your neck from SOMEWHERE...what remaining cervical levels are not currently fused (c2/c3 etc) are obviously going to pick up the slack for the fused levels leading to further breakdown of the non fused ones. Playing football is only going to make this happen much much quicker. It makes me think that these guys on sports talk radio are talking out of their asses with their supposed medical sources claiming he should be fine.

I have heard a lot of talk on sports radio about the competitiveness between the brothers. Peyton won't give up as long as Eli has the upper hand.
he will not have a choice

He was done for good after his last surgery. Bone spurs may require more surgery but that is probably going to be years from now.

We are talking about the neck here and not a knee or an ankle or a shoulder.
Back and neck injuries and exponentially worse in terms of future quality of life.

I hope they don't make a spur of the moment decision regarding the future of his career.
Lame attempt at wit, but I will recognize that you tried.

who cares what SI is reporting. the freaking colt's team neurosurgeon said Peyton can play right now.

Manning really doesn't need to stick his neck out for the colts or the NFL. He really should just retire.
