If LeBron told the NBA he wouldn't play again unless they expanded to [insert city here] could he get away with it? I ask because Cleveland was in the dumps once LeBron left until he came back. The economical impact he has on a city is astronomical.

I seriously doubt he has swung the economy of the city back and forth. I've seen actual journalists say this and there has never been any data behind it
