Iirc, Louisville beat them by like 30 in the aac tournament prior to their 6 game win streak that culminated in a national title. Ollie should have struck while the iron was hot because he hasn't done shite since.

He is a great example of giving a guy time and see what he does with his own players. They weren't even that good and got hot during a down year in college basketball.

It was flukey, but they beat the #2 (Villanova), #3 (Iowa State), and #4 (Mich St) to win their region, and then beat #1 seeded Florida before knocking off a #8 seed Kentucky.
Ollie would have 3 out of 4 NCAA tournaments if not for the NCAA banning UConn for academics one year. They suck this year because their whole team is hurt (playing 6 scholarship players).

That was Jim Calhoun's title in 2011. Ollie's title was a few years later.
