From what I heard he may have learned that from his predecessor?

I know CHSNI is struggling somewhat with enrollment so thats an issue at other catholic schools. If they take the vouchers it could make for a huge turnaround. Some catholic schools are going to get real good real quick thanks to the voucher program.

Because PV kept their coaches.

If Sid had stayed, Redemptorist would be the best program in their classification.

I think the real death nail for redem has been the rise of Zachary and Central. They used to get tons of kids from that area, but those are now pretty nice schools and people aren't going to pay that areas taxes and then send their kid to a crappier private school

I'm saying when you're barely making enrollment its tough to take on kids who aren't paying a dime

what i'm wondering...

if a redemptorist gives a potential 4-5 star football player a scholarship to go there, or better yet, a few players, would the financial gain from a better team be enough to be worth it?

sure, they'll just go to the 4-5star player store and pick a few up

Sid started the recruiting back in the 00's. Sports started to flourish at RHS, which attracted kids to attend (pay) RHS to be apart of championship teams.

02-03 year was a beast....

Agreed...a majority of the kids that played for RHS were from those areas back in my playing days.

My mom is the new principal at Redemptorist. Hope it works out. I've liked the school from covering recruiting when La'el and Jeremy were there.
