Redemptorist football hires new coach

Hired Craig Laborde from new Orleans as the new coach from what I found he was at miller and south plaquemines. As a Redemptorist and high school football fan I hope it's a good hire. We enjoyed playing the wolves the couple times we have

I hope it works for them because I hate seeing good programs die but I hate redemptorist.

Not just football, the whole place is probably dead. The issues there are way more than athletics. It is poorly run to say the least.

How's it an upgrade? Also, enrollment there is way way down, students are leaving left and right, as well as teachers, and they are getting rid of good people. I like redemptorist, I hope it can recover, but it us a bad place right now. Can it be turned around, who knows, but if so it will be amazing. It's a shame, because it had so much tradition and history.

From what i hear RHS just let go a bunch of teachers and are hiring alot of new teachers with masters degrees....

Just didn't like the attitude displayed by the team and fans when we played y'all in the quarters in 2010. And yalls field is awful.

Guessing they're parents feel like the education is lacking. Also parents I've talked to said kids had zero school experience, nothing but go to school and go home. No real good extracuriculars. Budget is always the excuse, place is on the decline, maybe it can be turned around, I hope so.

my lil sister had no help at all finding help for college at all. The guidance counselor didnt help the kids find scholarships or give them any info in colleges instead of LSU....Her class was basically left on their own....but her classmates got into some really good schools. One guy got into West Point.....he came from a reallyyyyy good family.
When i was at RHS, we had fun. We had dances after every home football games. Lots of pep rallys, Spirit weeks, good extracurriculars...just a fun HS
