So frustrating. Bullpen has looked promising in brief spurts.

Starting pitching has been atrocious.

Price won't be that bad again and Porcello didn't look awful when not facing Bautista. Hopefully when Erod gets healthy he will replace one of Kelly or Buch.

I keep hearing ERod won't be back realistically until maybe June, and even then who knows how he'll be. He has massive potential, but I hate to have the whole season rest on an injured, unproven pitcher.

If they get out to a 10-20 start or something similar Farrell will be canned and I would hope they'll either make some trades of bring up some young guys. How is Henry Owens doing thesr days? Johnson? Who else they got?

Agreed. Farrell will be gone with the quickness if they continue on this path though I don't fault him for all of the team's inefficiencies. The farm system has looked promising, but we have dropped the ball the past few years when it comes to trades and acquisitions. Despite winning that ring in '13, I haven't liked the moves we've made since Epstein left in '11. And he's over with the Cubs making magic. I'm jealous.

Also the O's are 7-0 for the 1st time ever. (1901 for modern era references)

Season isn't over, but obviously they have to get better than that over the course of the season. But I doubt they can do much better than a 4.5 ERA, which will still give them a below .500 record.

I think Farrell leaves alot to be desired. Save the 13 season hes hasnt done much as a manager everywhere he has been. It starts w the staff. We will see if they get better but his strength is pitching and they all have regressed since hes been here. Like I said the season just started so lets see where the staff is at the all star break. But he should be shipped out if they finish below .500
