I don't have either hrtv or tvg, but the tvg guys usually get on my nerves. Love watching Tom Amoss on there, though.

I've been a loyal hrtv guy since 2097. Jeff and Aaron have been there the whole time. They made that TV station

They get rid of Millie and im done. Lol

Siegel was the best commentator they had. They dumped him? I thought I read they were going to still operate 2 separate companies. HRTV much better than TVG

easiest exacta there was

No speed and they allow pharoh to go 24 49, lol what a boat race. A complete throw out,. Add in the fact that oaklawn plays to speed and track is sloppy/fast.

#2 is coming into form, he put everyone else away, easily.

yeah, TVG took over HRTV.

It's a joke, we get stuck with todd and the tools. Worse off, you have a former trainer who knows as much as the average bettor about the horses(simon).

HRTV had really good hosts and analysts, who were insightful, not telling dick jokes and giggling.

The best is Loduca, he is terrible.

I hope everyone takes your opinion. Pharoah looked better than any other horse in a Derby prep this year and didn't break a sweat. Not only that but he grabbed his right front and sprung a shoe at the start. But hell with it, throw it out.

You do realize they went 1:15 1/5 to 3/4. That is worse than crawling, horses breeze in 1:15. That was a public work.

It was a really weak field. he did what he had to do but didn't prove much really.

Looking at the chart.
The older filly stakes (Untappable lost at odds on) 24.66 113.85 145.92
An older male stakes went 23.87 112.58 144.88
Pharoah went 24.41 49.63 115.22 145.78

The final time was decent but he really dawdled in doing it.

It was very slow early and he had things his way, but it was nice to see him come back like that after such a long layoff. Also, he's ok in mud and with shipping. Two other questions answered.

Slow race and nothing beat can also be said of the Gotham, but I liked that el Kabeir showed he can come from the back if need be and can take some dirt. These are all just preps.

I just hope it's anyone but Dortmund in May 2nd

Track also got wetter so it's hard to compare times when the surface was changing.

Race was slow. Beyer was maybe a little high. I still think it was a good 1st race back. We'll see what happens next time.
