Aldrige= jump shooter

Aldrige was strong in the post last year. He does have a good midrange game, but he's more than a jump shooter.

He'll replace David West on the All-Star team this year.

The blazers are still young, aldridge has the most to prove but he is way more than a jump shooter. I like that he can shoot.....like pulling the others big out from getting rebounds. Roy gets to the rack like crazy, so does Outlaw.

maybe, but they wont win a title with a bunch of jump shooters.

not that he is a bad player

How exactly does one frick up the Clippers?

before the super talented core broke up, they were a running team

miller comes over as the hometown hero and point guard who will direct the young studs to the next level, and ends up just demanding they run a halfcourt game nobody else other than brand could play, and it just blew up. everyone got mad and wanted out, starting with odom

odom is a bitch.......running an offense in the halfcourt is what portland does. Roy also handles the ball a lot, especially in the fourth quarter.

This season is going to be a lot less eventful since GHAZI is gone.

I wasn't on here for the first half or so of the NBA season. I really enjoy reading Ghazi and Horentards arguing. I just learned not to argue with him, but others haven't learned. I was really looking forward to seeing that for an entire season

As Bynum continues to develop, and with the addition of a physical defender like Artest, the Lakers will dominate the Blazers for the foreseeable future.

We will see......they didn't even dominate when Shaq was there. They got the upper hand but didn't dominate. Bynum will get banged up again.....if not the blazers have 12 fouls to use on his arse, one tall black mofo and one tall (very tough) white mofo. Not worried about bynum, artest does worry me cause he will go straight up thug on Roy. Like my uncle says, "you can take a brother out of the projects but you can't take the projects out of the brother"........cleaned up of course!

I'm hoping that Artest and Odom team up to destroy the Lakers from within.

me too!!!!!!! Odom will have distractions now that he has found "love" and artest is a kobe comment away from going off. I bet he will joke with him about not allowing reporters to see him naked because of his little wee wee........lol.

In a similar position as Sacramento in the West.

Apparently people are optimistic about Gilbert this year, though.

Also, notes for L.A.:

Bynum injured his shoulder this preseason.
Shannon Brown has been playing well, which isn't a surprise, and Morrison is shooting "lights out" which is a huge surprise.
The 1st round pick for 2010 that L.A. gave up to Memphis for their 2nd round pick in 2010 (part of the Gasol deal) is going to push that trade just further and further into L.A.'s favor. The Lakers' 1st round pick will likely be at the very end of the first, and Memphis' 2nd could potentially be toward the top. Theoretically, there could only be a few spot difference between those picks. at Memphis
