Right around the corner now. There are about 6-10 teams that can legitimately make serious noise this year, but overall, I think there are a ton of teams with a shite ton of potential. For instance, I don't expect teams like Toronto, Golden State, Oklahoma City, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, etc. to necessarily compete for anything more than a playoff spot, but they'll be a lot of fun to watch. The upper echelon of teams is IMO:

Lakers
Spurs
Nuggets
Mavs
Blazers
Cavs
Celtics
Magic

After that, there are ton of teams with great young players. There are maybe a few teams that I think will just be no fun to watch (Sacramento, Charlotte, etc.), but for the most part, this should be an exciting year with a ton of storylines.

Projected finish:

1. Lakers
2. Nuggets
3. Spurs
4. Blazers
5. Mavs
6. Jazz
7. Hornets
8. Rockets

1. Boston
2. Cleveland
3. Orlando
4. Atlanta
5. Philly
6. Toronto
7. Miami
8. Chicago

L.A. vs Boston Finals with the Lakers repeating. I think LeBron repeats as MVP, Evans is your ROY, and LSU's own Anthony Randolph is most improved.

Unless Portland is ready to step up.......they own your arse! Saw the last regular season game against you last year in the rose garden, talked the laker fan behind me into changing seats. In the NBA the lakers are my big 12, big 11. Whatever happens Portland starts a string of titles starting next year......

Roy needs to pull his head out of his arse by the time the season starts. He's been dogshit all preseason. Also, the Andre Miller experiment is already looking like it might blow up on the team

he's fricked up 1 young team before (clippers) by being not what they needed/expected

Oden is looking good......for the first time he came into camp in excellent shape and he is loose. He is not being bogged down by the pressure anymore. The blazers are very talented and very deep. Bayless won't even get much time even though he could start for several teams. They are ready......I am ready to go see a game.

Roy is fine.....miller will be fine, if not they have blake and bayless. It is preseason......no worries....

Miller has to learn the rest of the team. He is the only change, it will take a little time but it will be all good.
