Yeah, Cris Carter seemed okay until that weird comment, and Ray Lewis never struck me as someone who knew wtf he was talking about. He couldn't be analytical enough. Then again, I barely barely even saw Ray Lewis, and I hate espn talking about anything because everything they say is shitty.

FOUR pages in and no I hate Michael Irvin and the Dallas Cowboys? Wow you Saints' fans are getting lazy since it has been 7 years since won the Super Bowl.

Carter wasn't great but he was far from awful. He did get a little preachy at time.

Ray Lewis sucked. So did ditka.

The few times I saw randy moss on fox sports it blew my mind that he was actually pretty good. I like Keyshawn Johnson also.

Johnson is probably their best analyst. Wish he was on more. Ditka needs to retire.

Keyshawn is gone from that shite place. Going to FOX I believe.

You must be reaching for attention since it's been so long since the Cowboys won.

Ray Lewis after the Saints drafted Brandin Cooks a few years ago (verbatim):

I think the most frustrating fallacy at ESPN is that they think they can just stab any former athlete and talk about the sport they played and just because they played it everything they say is valid and correct. I think the former athletes themselves a lot of times believe that is also true.

Mostly it just exposes those who actually knew the entirety of the game vs. those who think just because they played it makes them qualified to speak about it. Ray Lewis is a perfect example. None of his words make sense, but they think just because he's Ray Lewis and he played, that everything he says is worthwhile to hear.

What's funny is Fox wanted to start out as the ESPN alternative, but that failed so now they're just buying up their personalities and "embracing debate"

Chris Carter made lots of controversial statements and Ray Lewis killed a guy.

Yeah the former Eagles front office guy is good. That's the type of analysts they need vs. just hiring any notable former player that retires.

But bring back enmitt to breakdown MNF, that was pure gold.

Carter annoyed me more than Lewis.

Pretty soon Jemelle Hill and Danny Kanell will be the main college football analysts on ESPN and the SEC Network.

He's a Cowboys Super Bowl baby. We should take him out for his first legal drink next year.

I'm glad his MLB HOF vote was taken away. There are too many shows that mimic PTI and Around The Horn.

Has anyone seen Cris Carter? Did Ray Lewis off him?

When was this? Had not heard that. Phil Simms is so awful I have started muting the channel.

I was surprised how good Moss was as well. He really knows the game, and is very well spoken.

Keyshawn Johnson should be gone as well. He's worse than Cris Carter. Clean house and get rid of Ditka's old arse also! But Tom Jackson ain't going nowhere! You'd have to kill him to get him off ESPN. He's a company man.

That would be Joe Banner. I wish they would hire more former GM/front office. They offer a unique perspective that former players don't offer.

Wasn't Smith only on ESPN 1-2 years?
