Not really. They stopped talking about the Presser that same night. Local guys who need something besides NCAA and some people who have conspiracy theories care, but generally the public has moved on.

I love how people keep saying "after this weeks games"

meanwhile, we just finished week 3

and reporters are still digging

this isn't a fart in the wind, this is a fart in an elevator (SWIDT?) still stinks and everyone wants to know who did it.

They seem to be painting goodell in a better light, saying he regretted the short initial suspension and that he was talked into it. Granted I skimmed the article.

I think they thought that

but if he regretted it in February (knew it was "wrong") and towed the line anyway, he looks like a POS in addition to being a liar.

Something is going on. Either ESPN and the league office worked on this, "make me look bad, but not as bad as I look now, shift this to the team level" and that explains the 5p.m. release OR ESPN is out for fricking blood and released the story for maximum "make goodell look stupid" effect

Adam Schefter is claiming that even players had access to the 2nd video only a week or two after the incident occurred. If this is true I just don't see how Goodell can survive.

They had moved on. It was not until over a year later that it hit the Post.

Generally people do not care what happens unless it affects them personally. And people are dropping the subject because, well, they dont want to think about it and move on. It is evidenced by the amount of threads on Rice lately, it is old news.

Not to cast stones, but it seems only a few posters are just all over this thing and breath life into a Rice, Paterno, or Goodell thread. Usually it always the same cast of characters also.

That's the point my man. The info will keep leaking out until its too much to withstand.

Goodell is going to die the death of a thousand cuts.

pretty much what I said in the beginning. Too many loose ends and people will still keep looking into it trying to bust them.

It's over for goodell...his stupid fricking conduct policy is a disaster right now. Bisciotti is doing pressers, Richardson is crying on tv, and wilf looks like the ultimate sleaze ball

if his job is to protect the owners, he failed big time.

He is not going to die due to this. He will get fired due to something else, if he gets fired at all. I seriously doubt he does. He has taken heat for the Player Lock out, the ref lock out, and this like a champ. The owners love him and he is going nowhere.

Everyone blames Goodell for things the owners do, yet he has no control over it. He is going nowhere and all the conspiracy theorist out there are pissed because he is doing his job.

The owners are the driving force behind these rules changes, they vote them in.

funny you should mention that, the moment the water came to a boil, the lockout ended. Wonder if something similar is in store for roger.

The Ravens are such a POS of a franchise. They probably helped Ray Lewis' white suit disappear too.

He turned media guys like Schefter and Peter King against them by denying seeing the video, which many of them had reported initially. I would imagine every media person who he made look foolish wants to take him down

I agree with this. The Saints fans are upset with Goodell, but he is a pawn.

He is an arrogant douchey pawn, but you can bet your last dollar that the owners pull the strings.

of course the owners pull the strings, but it is incredibly naïve to think that the owners don't seek counsel from goodell...you don't pay someone $44 million a year to be a body.

You mean just piss you off.

People, meaning the general public do not care anymore. You have an infatuation with Goodell and it is disturbing. You have linked him to cover ups and all kinds of things with no reason, other than your belief and hatred. You even said he and the Ravens committed a criminal act, when they did no such thing last week.

Get over it. It will all work itself out.
