Even the Heat repeated. Not bad for a late 80s expansion team.

I mean what are we talking? Like one year, one game, pick them for their career,

For 1 season - Shaq from 2000-2004 he was the best on the planet.

For career - Duncan - Shaq - Lebron

Shaq/Duncan is hard because Prime Shaq > Prime Timmy, but Career Timmy has been better than career Shaq.
This is true. But Lebron > both.

Did the Lakers only beat "great" Spurs teams, but not vice versa? Maybe the Spurs weren't "great" because they lost to the Lakers?

Great fricking post.

Shaq, LeBron, Duncan.

I think LeBron will pass up Shaq, but his story isn't over yet.

There are so many if to this question.

If I had the choice of either player starting their prime years to build a team it would be hands down Shaq. In this day and age NBA no one would come close to stopping him.

I like Duncan next because he didn't have to go to a loaded team to win a championship.

We will just have to wait and see how LeBron does the rest of his career.

I'd take 93-06 Shaq over Duncan and Lebron. Shaq's last 4 years weren't great but people act like he only dominated for 3 years or something.
