I bring facts to the table my brother.

Brees playoff stats:

24 TDs
6 INTs
100.7 Passer Rating
66% Comp
321.7 PYPG

6-5 Record. Superbowl Win. Has shown he can win it all.

Cam Newton:

5 TDs
5 INTs
80.5 Passer Rating
61.3 Comp %
237 PYPG

1-2 Playoff record, with one win vs the worst starting QB in playoff history

And y'all like to bring up rush stats. He has an average of 42 YPG Rushing in the playoffs, with no touchdowns. So that combined with his passing yards is still inferior to what Brees has done by a per game basis.

Now, you dumbfricks got anything else to add to this? You have jack shite to say that can prove me otherwise that Brees is up there amongst the best to ever do it in post season history based on his performances. Brees playoffs statistics make Cams look absolutely pathetic. Cam is one interception away from the amount Brees has thrown, and Brees has payed in EIGHT more game. Wilson also has done more in the playoffs than Cam. If Cam goes into the playoffs and plays badass he will get credit, but he hasn't yet, therefore his ranking as ahead of guys like Wilson and Brees is laughably retarded.

Someone's feathers are a bit ruffled.

I remember you saying similar things about the Saints at home last year...

I think it's a combination of factors. You have to consider that Brees is past his prime. I'm not looking at just past performance alone.

Man, Brees stats are not bad at all this year. His team is terrible, sure. Do we get to pick the team around them? Like can I give Brees the Carolina defense? Does Wilson have a similar team to what he has last year? Is Luck healthy?

If they are in the playoffs, hypothetically, they have to have at least a decent team around them. For the sake of argument lets say they all get an equal team around them; my order stands as is. I trust people that have gone in there and won playoff games, especially championships, over those that have not. Playoffs are different from the regular season. Eli is a great example of someone that shows up in the post season, Flacco as well. Would anyone say they are better than Cam at this point? Probably not. But I sure as frick would take them over Cam come playoff time.

Idk what year you're living in but Brees is a few years away from having Peyton Manning's noodle arm. This isn't 2012.

Hold up. You're trying to prove people wrong in a thread asking for an opinion?

Good luck with that.

'Right now' Brees hasn't looked too hot in his teams last 2 big games and now the team has no shot at the playoffs.

Here's where the Saints fans jump in and blame everyone else on the team

Is it bad that I feel weird when agreeing with you?

Brees is already on the downside of his career. He'll throw for yards and even TDs but as he gets older his interception count will increase.
