They never call linemen down the field penalties anyway

Receivers were running forward though. He would've had to hot route the WR
They would never have called it illegal man downfield. Fwiw, the Broncos, Pats, Packers, and other teams have no problem just throwing the ball in that situation. With the Patriots, they used to tap their helmet if they felt like the could get 5 yards on a quick pass.

please tell me they called holding on that play

be in the endzone, after the 3 step drop, I believe the penalty would have been a safety?
I wouldn't think so. Ineligible man downfield isn't a penalty on the QB and it's literally impossible to have that penalty occur in the end zone.

Neither is a holding call, but if the ball is in the endzone when the penalty occurs then it becomes a safety.

The actual holding has to occur in the endzone for a holding penalty to cause a safety. Not where the ball is.

What adjustment did defenses make when playing Kaepernick that have made him so ineffective from year 1&2 to now?

They used a special defensive adjustment, deep in their playbooks, where the 49ers best headcoach in decades gets sent to an artic backwood while Ron Jeremy's stunt double gets control of the team.
It's been really effective.

Has nothing to do with where the ball is and everything to do with where the penalty occurs.

It wasn't long ago Ron Jaworski said he is the greatest qb he has ever seen

Was great watching them have the same temper tantrum meltdown as they went upfield.

Good to know, never really focused too much on where the hold occurred. Guess the few times I have actually seen this, the hold & QB just happened to be in the endzone.

What a sweet tackle technique by the blitzing corner.
Posted on 11/2/15 at 3:49 pm to Ellis Dee
Both his receivers were open. The other corner was crashing in before the hand off as well.

No respect for his pre-snap abilities.
He has zero self awareness. You can tell by the way he wears the flatbill three quarters to the back.

Ha! The receivers waving so much they make Orr look tame.
