Lol...I forgot about the awards still have not been announced. So dumb to put it after the playoffs and the draft.

To me the draft is the start of the new season so how do you do awards for the previous season once the new season is starting.

I mean players have been traded. Should do the awards during the 1st round if the playoffs

Yeah, of course. The season is longer, but the offseason is also significantly more interesting.

Duke we agree with the decades old line of thinking that the MVP shouldnt come from a merely average team. Excellence should be rewarded. Not mediocrity.

OK... If OKC doesn't have westbrook they are not mediocre...they are the worst team in the league... If Houston doesn't have Harden they could have still make the playoffs.............

Who cares. That is not the criteria for MVP. Okc has little help Bc no one wants to play with him. He ran the #2 player in the league outta town ....

You would be hard pressed to find me one GM in the league today who would prefer weatbrook over harden.

Yes, even if only to see the bitching and butthurt of a thousand Rockets fans re-born.

Are there really that many Rockets fans that will be butthurt or just a vocal minority that seemsto get this board all worked up

As a rocket fan, I have no issue with Westbrook winning it. Most of the other Rocket fans I have talked to feel the same way

It's a statistical award alone it seems. Congrats to Westbrook on his team's 6th seed finish and easy first round exit. I can't wait to see the first player on a non-playoff team win the award. He'll probably be the MSB's favorite player.

Word around the league is that Westbrook ran him out of town Bc he didn't want to have to share shots. He was willing to give up team success for his own stat padding.

Top 4 finish for a team expected to find around .500? I think that speaks for itself. As a rockets fan, this season was a complete surprise.

My sources tell me Durant just wanted out of Oklahoma. Didn't have anything to do with Westbrook.

Could be Westbrook next year. He'll average a triple double again.
