Question for UL- Lafayette fans?

Does it piss you off that espn refuses to refer to you as "Louisiana"?
It's obvious you despise the "Lafayette" part of your name as it isn't found on any of the team uniforms or signage on/around the field.

It's as if they're trying to imply they are the premier flagship university of this state.
It's laughable. ESPN is doing something right for once and calling them exactly what they are.

Their AD sent a letter to ESPN referring to them as ESP-Bristol, yes, they're mad.

Espn uses "UL LAF" and "UL Lafayette" beause that's the official name of the school. What ever bullshite they put on their uniforms is their own choice.

LSU doesn't need a banner on the field for Super Regional appearances. They have twice as many national championships as that.

At least be honest with yourselves, LSU is a legally acceptable use of LSU BR A&M, UL is an illegal use of UL at Lafayette. How hard is that concept, really?
