Past 3 drafts top picks

'13 - Nerlens Noel (6) - Trade with NOP
'14 - Joel Embiid (3)
'15 - Jahlil Okafor (3)

All 3 centers as well as the #1 pick this year which could turn into Ben Simmons who has zero jumpshot right now.

At what point does management use one of these 3 guys as trade pieces and which one is it?

They were trying to move Okafor at the dealine this past year. Embiid will be ready to go when next season starts and is gonna be a beast. They'll be in the playoffs in the season after next.

Nevermind that they are going to bring him along slowly and place him on minute restrictions.

Nevermind that they CAN both bring him along slowly next season AND still make the playoffs the following season.

They are gonna move Okafor eventually for a 2 or a 3.

I honestly can't wait to see what the 6ers look like in 2-3 years. If Embiid and their pick this year pans out, they could be loaded with 3 or 4 of the top 10 under 23 guys.

I will believe Embiid will play when I actually see him on the court.

Dump all three for MOAR ASSETS and build around Ishe Smith.

you said he was going to be a beast next season. He may not even play meaningful minutes.

You have to think rust will be real for him

Almost certainly would trade someone if they got Simmons. Okafor makes the most sense since he's the least versatile.

He may be a beast down the road but I have my concerns, who knows how easy his transition back will be.

I'd say the difference between my evals skills and those of your ilk is I can recognize where rust will be present. I don't see it here in this case.

Doubt he ever plays more than 100 games in his entire NBA career

Embiid will be a rookie that hasn't played basketball in 2 years. To expect anything out of him is ridiculous.
