For those predicting Dallas to miss the playoffs, how little do you know football?

i put Dallas in the playoffs, but the NFC east is a crapshoot every year.

The only one that would surprise me if they won that division this season is Philly

I don't really see Washington in the race. It's between Dallas and NYG. And if Dallas doesn't win the division, I don't see any way* where they don't get a wild card.

*Unless Romo goes down again, which is a possibility.

NFC East is going to be tough to call.

I think when healthy Dallas is clearly the best team, the other three struggled to finish around .500 last year with healthy starting QBs and Dallas was 3-1 with Romo/Dez.

The Redskins caught lightening in a bottle last year with Cousins playing so well and a ridiculously easy 4th place schedule. Even then, they only finished 9-7. Their schedule is tough this year and I don't see them finishing above .500. Dallas gets Romo and Dez back, a new bellcow back and a 4th place schedule in a bad division.

I think the Jags are a year away at least. I can see them making 2015 Oakland strides this year and being near .500 but I can not see them making the playoffs yet.

The closer we get to the season starting I imagine more of us will come to accept this as the likely trajectory for the Jags. As you mentioned, they were still a looooong way away.

However, Idk why, but I'm beyond excited about that team. I'm not even a Jags fan, but their decades of misery have me pulling for them to break through. Maybe it's just the Saints fan in me who can empathize haha.

for those predicting Romo to stay healthy long enough for the cowboys to make the playoffs, how little do you know about football?

Missed extended time in only 2 of his 10 years as Dallas starter
