The Jaguars were 5-11 last season... why in the world are they getting love to get into the playoffs?

Incredibly young team that by definition you'd expect to improve more than a veteran unit. They also add three first round picks to their defense and IMO the two best players in this draft.
Their whole season comes down to the OL.

Yeah, yeah... "The defense sucked last year." It did, it really did.
They get Dante Fowler Jr back from injury, and added Myles Jack, Jalen Ramsey, Prince Amukamara and Malik Jackson.

I forgot, Jacksonville also added Chris Ivory to pair with TJ Yeldon on offense.

They would have to make some gigantic leaps to win the division.
The Texans, for example, had one of the top defenses in the league last season and seriously upgraded their offense in the off-season.
And if I remember correctly, wasn't Andrew Luck hurt last season and was playing way below his norm?
I just don't see the Jaguars making a leap to winning the division.

I think the Jags are a year away at least. I can see them making 2015 Oakland strides this year and being near .500 but I can not see them making the playoffs yet.

These are my predictions, at least for now. I could easily see the Colts, Texans, Jets, Raiders, Saints, Giants, Redskins, and Bears among other teams make the playoffs too.

Tom Brady and the Patriots are going to come back and destroy the league.

Remember when you laughed at me for saying 2 years and Raiders will be contending?
Posted on 5/3/16 at 6:53 pm to UltimateHog
I remember saying they wouldn't make it last year. My memory isn't very extensive, though.
