The original thread is locked for some reason
Based on what I have seen it was probably because the thread lasted so long. When people start bumping a thread every few days the admins tend to lock it.

Is gunfighting a sport?
Known as the "Most Unique Picture Ever Made" the image is believed to have been taken at Hunter's Resort, Hot Springs, Montana in the Year 1883. The debate is still going on over the authenticity of this now legendary and still controversial image.
Pictured here are speculated to be some of the most famous (and/or "infamous") people of the late 1800's... Wyatt Earp, Teddy Roosevelt, Doc Holliday (John Henry), Morgan Earp, "Liver Eating" Johnson, Butch Cassidy (Robert LeRoy Parker), The Sundance Kid (Harry Alonzo Longabaugh), Bat Masterson, Harry Britton, Judge Roy Bean, Ben Greenough.

Kevin Sumlin after Texas A&M's comeback win over Duke in the 2013 Peach Bowl (Johnny Manziel's swan song).
Tragic bit of info: the photographer who took this shot (AP's Dave Martin) collapsed and died moments afterwards. This was the last picture he took
Aggie 12th Man stands alone in the rain at Kyle Field. Don't know why, but this pic has always fascinated me.
Brian Gamble after recovering the fumble to seal a victory against rival texas in the game immediately after the Bonfire collapse in 1999. Probably the most emotional game and win ever at Kyle Field. Every Aggie alive felt exactly as Gamble's posture indicates:
Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s reaction to winning the Pepsi400 in 2001 in NASCAR's first return to Daytona after the death of his father a few short months before. I'm not a Junior fan at all, but that finish gave me goosebumps:
