Phil had MJ, Pippen, Shaq in their primes and Kobe in his early prime.

Pop has done more with less in San An.

Phill has what, 11 rings? Those teams weren't doing anything without him. People are too quick to dismiss him.

Pop is a great coach though, one of the best ever. I am pulling for the Spurs mainly because of him.

both are great, and it truly is hard to say.

Phil created two separate dynasties with two different set of top players in their respective era and on two different teams.

Pop created a team that has been a consistent contender for the past 16 years with the same set of players.

I know man. Must have been really hard coaching Jordan, Pippen, and the rest of those teams. They certainly weren't winning shite without Phil

Pop, Phil couldn't win with Kobe without another elite player at his position. Pop has done maybe the most impressive job of coaching in professional sports history IMO. Now I don't think their GM gets nearly enough credit. It seems like every trade or draft pick that works out credit immediately goes to Pop.

Agreed

Pop has had to win with scrub players like Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Tony Parker, & Manu Ginobili
