He's scared of the clippers. They knocked him out last year he'd rather the potential
OKc matchup in rd 2.

Last year's team is nowhere near as good as this year's Spurs. Pop has been doing this stuff for years. They only have one team that can beat them in a 7 game and that's the Warriors.

Gotta remember Boom they dont care til the playoffs. Just like you always say hahahha

ICYMI last season Pop mismanaged his whole sitting guys out game and it resulted in losing a favorable matchup AND the home court in rd 1 when they lost to the pellies in game 82. Safe to say he's not taking any chances this year.

36-37 right now, 9 games left; 45-37 at best with games @IND, @CLE, vCHI, vOKC. The rest are rather "easy", @DAL, vPHX, vLAL, @Min, vSAC
1-0 v Indiana
0-1 v Cleveland
0-1 v Chicago
1-2 v OKC
2-1 v Dallas
2-0 v Phoenix
3-0 v LAL
2-0 v Minnesota
2-1 v Sacramento

Could go 9-0, but there's no indication from this whole season that tells me Houston would. Could very well go 7-2, which is more realistic though.

Memphis is 41 wins and has 3 "easy" games left: Denver, @orlando, @dallas. So I say they may go 44-38.

I say they finish 43-39 TBH, which is where I put them some 20 games ago.

Memphis has 3 easy games they will be lucky to win any of the remaining games. Let's give them 1. HOU only have to go 6-3. Mem current best scoring options are tony Allen and Barnes; they have the least talented roster in the league if you look at who they are trotting out there every night. Iirc they have lost to Phoenix, LAL, and Minnesota in the last 2 weeks.

dallas is in a funk as well, denver and orlando are both about to mail it in, and they're in a questionable arse funk with injuries out the arse.

So you're saying they go 1-8 and Houston goes 6-3?

I can promise you which is more unreasonable, considering Houston's best 9 game stretch all season was 6-3 and that happened once.

I do think 7-2 is realistic, but I'd bet Memphis wins more than 1 game in their last 9.

Dallas playing for a playoff spot at home v that Memphis roster should be an easy win for Dallas. If they can't beat Memphis there's no way they'll make the playoffs. Hey if HOU can't get 5 seed the 6 is perfect Bc then CC draw OKC who is a favorable matchup.

1-2 v OKC (8-2 last 10) is a favorable matchup over the 2-2 LAC (4-6 last 10)?

Dallas has been free-falling, 2-8 their last 10...2-9 their last 11.

Losing to: Sacramento and Denver. The rest were to playoff or playoff-fringe teams.

While Memphis has somehow held onto the 5th seed while losing 7 of their last 10, 2 of which to LAL and Minny.

Their next game is v SAS, which Pop may bench half his starters again as well. I'm sure Kawhi will be sitting to rest the contusion.

I've seen every game HOU have played v OKC and LAC for the last 3-4 years and of the 2 OKC is the team that I like our chances against. LAC does a much better job v harden than OKC.

20/5/7 v LAC 36% fg

V

30/8/7 v OKC 48% fg
