This. There is no logic to believing her over him. So, we have established that Soph's "conclusion" is mere speculation. At the same time, Soph has provided plenty of evidence to support the conclusion that he/she is not logical, but engages in rank speculation and disquises it as fact.

I also take pleasure in pointing out that there is absolutely no reason to believe that Kobe didn't rape her, as again, none of us were there.

I agree 100%, and I'm NOT saying that Kobe is innocent. I'm saying that he was never tried or convicted of rape, so we can't assume that he is definitely guilty. If some guy is falsely accused of rape, what's to stop people from automatically assuming he is guilty, even if no trial ever comes from it?
Once again, I'm not concluding that Kobe was falsely accused, but we have no indication that he wasn't.

Also, I think that this is what Big Ben's attorneys are trying to do, and this is why more women don't come forward when they are raped, because their entire sexual history is up for examination, while the accused is only scrutinized for one encounter.
