Philadelphia has emerged as leading candidate to host 2017 NFL Draft, per sources. NFL considering Philly, LA - neither has a 1 next year.

Goodell will get a good old fashioned rogering from that crowd

I would go if I lived in the city it was hosted in. I would never travel there but it would be fun to be a 'boo bird' when your hometown team selects no matter who they take

It all looks the same on the inside, no matter where they host it.

I would definitely go if it was in NOLA. What a fun opportunity to get drunk and boo your arse off at 31 other selections each round, possibly all 32

right, but you're only 1 out of 32 picks, or if you're lucky, 2. the worst part about the draft is sitting through or watching other teams picking.

now if they had real time betting in the venue, it might be better (Offense or Defense?, Trade in the next 5, 10 picks?, How many SEC players?, stuff like that)

I went when I lived in NYC. Would probably never go again(or at least not stand in line again) but I had a fantastic time. Went with a pretty large group representing about 8 different fan bases so there was always something going on.

I went to check out the Draft Town setup last year in Chicago. It was pretty cool since they've never done anything like that before, but I still had no interest in attending the actual draft live.

They need to have it in Boston before Goodell retires. The booing would be awesome and you know some Masshole would toss a beer at him.

Would be fun in NOLA. JF is always a conflict, so it probably won't happen.

The NFL now has a festival built around the draft. 200,000 people attended the festival last year in Chicago. No idea what kind of festival, but I'd assume it's similar to what the NFL & host cities set up for the Super Bowl.

The NFL plans to move the draft around cities in the North to hopefully alleviate the pressure they are facing to award Super Bowls to cities like CHI & PHI.

When the NFL Hall of Fame redevelopment is finished, Canton should host the draft. Having it at the Hall of Fame site would be sweet!!
