I thought SC fans had a different opinion of Carroll. I guess it seems from the outside that he ran a really loose program that got caught and then he bolted leaving the program to carry the water for his actions. I always thought the guy came off as a total douchebag but if the SC fans somehow blame everything on the NCAA and let Carroll off the hook so be it.

Dude is an excellent coach but he's so full of shite. I know I'll get a lot of "lolz saints butthurt" comments but I've always felt that way.

Carroll was practically run off by former AD Mike Garrett. Most non-SC folks and even some SC sidewalk fans are clueless about the circumstances that preceded PC's exodus, but I believe the core Trojan fans/alumni know that while PC is in some measure accountable for Bush-gate, he is in no way responsible for it. He will always be a Trojan.
