3 Crew members(2 Gordon, 1 Kahne) penalized $25,000 and suspended a few races; Truck driver for Gordon fined $10,000 and suspended a few races.

Who pays these fines for them? It's not like they are drivers or crew chiefs who earn millions. I would imagine that a $25,000 fine for a tire changer is a sizable chunk of his income--30%? 50%?

Even $10,000 has to be near 10% of the truck driver's salary.

No drivers--Gordon, Keselowski, or Kevin "Monsoon" Harvick--were fined or disciplined.

They get paid more then you think to get those kind of fines.

It's strange the drivers weren't fined. Those crew members fined were probably the ones dishing out the most damage. It looks like the drivers were just hugging each other.

From the comments in the article:

I'm glad NASCAR gave Keselowski a break - you can clearly see that inbreeding has affected his personality and character. He clearly has the Hapsburg Chin, or prognathism, a mouth and chin deformity caused by inbreeding. This is common in hillbilly areas. Thus, Brad has an excuse. Look at his long chin and head, and buck teeth.

Ya its that or NASCAR knows they aren't the ones who will pay them.

In any event, I'm going to the race in Miami

Never been or watch really any more but should be fun.

I'd be shocked if gordon and keselowski didn't pay all fines. If not them, then the teams.

I always assumed NASCAR penalties were "Drink X shots of moonshine before the next race."
