Lillard is a god awful defender, Jrue is one of the best defensive PG's. I think Lillard is a bit overrated, they're almost the exact same age, Lillard turns 23 next week. Lillard is cheaper than Jrue, that's about the only advantage I'd give him.

Jrue is about to dominate the L

Also, if Philly is smart, they let Bynum walk, take on bad contracts in favor of future picks/young assets, and tank. Odds are against them getting Wiggins, but Noel + the Pels pick (8-15ish), their own pick in the 3-7 range, and ~$40m in cap space in 2014 would be a great situation. They could have a shot to convince two young max players + a decent role player to come together and be a competitor pretty quickly.

Lillard has just about maxed out his talent as a rookie.

I agree with all that, except I think the Sixers pick will be in play for Wiggins. Thaddeus Young is the only above average player on the roster and he could be traded. But the thought of having Noel, MCW, Wiggins/Parker/Randle and Exum/Harris/Harrison with almost 40 mil in cap space is pretty exciting for a team that has been hanging 'in the middle'.

Agree with that, he got put in a perfect situation for a rookie and came in ready to play. His percentages should go up but I don't see him as a consistent all star.

I'd rather have the best talent in the draft then an inefficient pg. I doubt Holiday ever plays in another All Star game anyway.
Good thing people like you work at Dairy Queen and not the Pelicans' front office
