I love how people keep saying this.

It's done. It's over. Move on with your life.

I always hate when my team trades 2 backups for 2 starters.

Landry wasn't intended to be a starter.

Collison is a starting NBA point guard.

Rose's total shooting percentage is through the roof right now thanks to those FTs

Collison wasn't a starting PG with the hornets.

And Thornton barely played and most folks don't realize belli shot 49% or something from 3 since he left.

You do realize that under that logic that Tiago Splitter > Carmelo + Amare right?

"Starter" in this case is a pointless designation. Keith Bogans in a starter. When Paul is gone in a year, it'll be hard to justify those trades.

If Jerry West did not have Vlade Divac waiting for the Charlotte Hornets, then do we even know if they still would have taken him?

Also, I know this is only game, albeit, the opening game of the playoffs, but this is a disappointing performance from Thib's vaunted D.

Comment back to page 2: Why should you care if Obama supports the Bulls? This is a fricking joke if you get on his case for endorsing his team. If I was president, I know for damn sure I would be repping my teams.

Collison was too small to play with CP3. CP3 is also definitely better and he is young also.

You don't let an asset like Collison waste away on the bench. They got a young starter for him and dumped a horrible contract.

This can all be true. And usually, sure, trade 2 backups for 2 starters.

But it has more to do with why Thornton wasn't playing. As for Collison, I don't like that trade still. If we lose Paul, we could have had a good point guard in Collison.

1. Obama probably can't even name their starting line-up.

2. He's the kiss of death for every team he picks.

True. And I'm sure Monty had a good reason. At least I assume so. I don't see why else he'd sit a guy who can score so well.

1. Link?

2. I am cool with that. Plus, he is just a fan of Chicago teams. He does not just "pick" teams every season.
