Weed?? So your definition of a thug is someone who smokes weed? OK got it...

Shooting someone the finger? So your definition of a thug is someone who shoots someone the bird? OK got it

I wouldn't say he's a choir boy, but there is a whole lot a room between thug and choir boy.....Do you know how many people have smoked/smoke pot and has done before? Dude you are really reaching........

didn't his brother pull a gun in a parking lot on some random student? and get into some other trouble?

that and his tendency to resent any criticism were what started to sour me on Vick being a leader (before the dog fighting stuff came out)

That doesn't have anything to do with Mike Vick though

Yeah, I think you are right in both instances.....I'm just tired of the "thug" reference being hurled so easily.

Well, I think that most people thought of Ben as a good guy before all of this and people relaize that women try to take advantage of athletes.

Good damn bitches. Why did we ever give them the right to vote and drive?

Nothing but manipulative leaches. Antonio Cromartie needs to Rae Caruth all his baby mamas.

seemed like instead of being upset with him and being a good big brother... by helping him get clean Mike instead defended(enabled) him and watched him waste whatever opportunity he had in front of him

to me that means vick was guilty of being a lousy big brother, having at least bad judgement, and probably being indifferent to the law

go back and look at his brother's behavior in college... any family member with a sense of pride and rational interest in his future would have been horrified

he pissed away whatever shot he had at the NFL because of character issues

his public statements were in defense of his brother... to the effect that it was not a big deal

he should have helped his brother salvage his reputation in public by saying "we all know it was wrong and he's embarassed etc"

then he should have torn him a new one in private and told him he was going to waste his chance

Given Mike was doing some pretty questionable things at teh same time I think we all know he didn't do this... because his brother would have rolled his eyes at him "are you kidding me bro? tell me you obey the law etc"

Did Vick ever stomp on somebody on the field or pull a gun? No so I'm pretty sure he probably did tell him to knock off that shite.

So...even if he would have done that in private it wouldn't have mattered bc Marcus wouldn't have listened to him anyway?? Then WTF are you crushing Mike for when it comes to his little brother?

And? That still doesn't mean he can't tell his brother not to pull guns on people.
