How much more time does this guy have at Oregon? I was truly surprised that you lost at home to Colorado. Colorado is certainly an improved team, but come on...

Oregon should win those type of games. How do you think Oregon will finish the season and is their any grumblings about coaching changes?

You could tell helfrich was a fraud in his first season. Games that Kelly was winning 56-14 he was winning 41-23.

The play calling is where you could initially tell they missed Kelly.

If they put the feelers out there, does Chip Kelly come running back to Oregon?

Oregon needs to beg Chip Kelly to come home and save the program

11-2
13-2 lost in national title game
9-4 in year their QB kept getting hurt w/2 OT losses
2-2

Chip was only there for 4 years and never had a team that was fully his players. MH is doing better than what Bellotti (the guy who actually built the program) did in his final 4. If Oregon is dumb enough to make a panic fire they deserve to fall off hard.

Chip was the OC under Belotti for 2 years. So technically those were his players, on the offensive end

That's not how it works though.

You don't get credit for that unless you are the HC.

Otherwise, Helfrich should get the same credit for all the success as OC under Kelly.

Phil Knight can throw as much money as he wants at the program but at the end of the day it's still Oregon. Their in state recruits are weak simply due to population numbers so they will always live and die by how good their out of state recruits are. If they miss on a few they going to be an 8 win team. There's nothing wrong with that.

Chip Kelly and Belotti gave Helfrich a program that should recruit well but it just hasn't happened. If he wants to keep his job he needs to win on the recruiting trail.

College football is an arms race: facilities, stadium, amenities. Oregon is near the top of the list and there is really no excuse to be getting creamed on the recruiting trail.

How is it stupid? It highlights the difference between chip's preparation, play calling and execution as opposed to helfrich.

The story of Oregon this year is the fat slug nanmed Brady fricking hoke.

Dude is a slob and doesn't have the brainpower to be a coordinator.
