Probably not at the NFL level but at Oregon, Mariota was one of the best dual threat QBs in college football of all time. I think his senior year he set the record for passer rating.
Dan Fouts, Mel Renfro and even recent guys like Jairus Byrd, Chung, Ngata went to Oregon. Ngata was awesome at Oregon and might be a HoF in the NFL.
ETA: just looked it up, sports reference has his 2014 season #7 all time and for career he is #2. Then go look at who he was throwing to compared to the other guys
