in individual accomplishments, Manning is better. Show me where i said Manning was FAR better? I said statistically he has been far better. Thats just facts. I stated in this thread that Brady has a case for being the GOAT.

Except they aren't far better.

Except they are. Manning has more mvps, passing yards, passing tds. And career qb rating. brady wont catch him in any.

running game

Manning had Edgerrin James (a 4-time Pro Bowler) and then Joseph Addai (who also went to the Pro Bowl) for the majority of his time in Indy. He also had C.J. Anderson go this year. How many RBs went to the Pro Bowl from the Patriots while Brady has been the starting QB? I'll give you a hint...it only happened once.

Very debatable.

I'll give you this.

Tony Dungy won over 75% of his games at Indianapolis when he was there in Manning's prime. Belichick and Dungy were both the two best coaches in the NFL at that time. Easily. This is almost a push.

Manning had Vinatieri, too.

Stop acting like Brady was throwing to shite.

He wasn't. But Manning had better people to give the ball to for the vast majority of his career, including this year.

Team accomplishments mean NOTHING when it comes to two individual players.

Manning: 2nd all time passing yards (soon to be 1st)
Brady: 5th all time passing yards (16,000 yards less than Manning)

Manning: 2nd all time passes completed
Brady: 5th all time passes completed

Manning: 2nd all time passes attempted
Brady: 6th all time passes attempted

Manning: 1st all time touchdown completion
Brady: 5th all time touchdown completion

Manning: 3rd all time passer rating
Brady: 5th all time passer rating

The list goes on and on. Yes, Tom has rings. But that DOES NOT make him the better quarterback than Peyton Manning.

Guess that makes Favre better than Brady.

No one is doubting that Peyton Manning is the greatest regular season QB of all-time. Post-season matters, too, though.

In the post-season, Brady is #1 all-time in pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. He also has a better post-season QBR then Manning.

So, do we have statistics champions now? I'll take the guy with the most championships! Marino was never considered the greatest of all time even though he blew every QB out of the water when it came to stats. I'll never consider Manning the GOAT.

Give me Brady, Montana and Bradshaw over Manning any day.

I don't know about Bradshaw. He only had 2 more tds than ints over his career. The 70s version of Eli.

Thrown for more yard and touchdowns then anyone else in the history of the playoffs?
