Nope! She was referring to the fan who the journalist was quoting. She even references and links his tweets.
She is basically telling the journalist he should be a little more due diligent in who he references and uses as an example. The particular fan he referenced is an internet troll and racist.

I believe they referenced a fan who has gone around making racist comments.
