Mention Treadwell around a serious ND fan, and they'll start seeing red. I think the ND administration and coaching staff was even pretty pissed at that one - I've heard it come up in conversations with people who have some sway with the university and NCAA.
A program and area that has been a major ND feeder for as long as I can remember loses a guy to Ole Miss pretty much out of the blue after ND led virtually the entire recruitment. We get his good friend and teammate Nyles Morgan the very next year and have gotten pretty much everyone from Crete-Monee that has mattered forever.
Yea, they were pissed.

Obviously Tunsil took the headlines, but RK is a well-documented problem and Treadwell is slimy although I respect the hell out of his game.
Between those three and the fraud that is Hugh Freeze you'd swear you're looking at the start of an AAU basketball team.
That class has been criticized from signing day to draft day, and rightfully so.

And to think...that recruiting class got them two fewer SEC Championship Games than Missouri during their years at Ole Miss.
But that "We Only Got There Because Alabama Got Bumped Up to the Playoff Sugar Bowl" was amazing--their first since before The Beatles broke up!

Tunsil, nkendichi, and treadwell were all national recruits and none were from Mississippi
